Possible Natural Aversion to Taxes?

Before I taught the Constitutional Convention in class, we were studying reasons for colonies wanting independence from the British. We read in the Social Studies textbook about taxation issues and then I invited the students to write or draw what taxation without representation means to them.

I think today's children might possibly have a natural aversion to taxes. I'm not sure if they'll want to pay for this spendulus bill. Maybe their children's children will like taxes more...
